Alif Supermarket

Very nice addition to Belfast halal grocery stores. Variety of middle Eastern, south and east Asian ingredients. I was able to walk with baby pram which is mostly difficult in other Asian markets.

I regularly stock up on my monthly meat shop here. Decently priced, good selection, can get quite a bit of frozen options here too. Spices, marinades and fruit and veg.

I had a really disappointing experience at Alif Superstore. The butcher was extremely rude and didn’t give me a chance to explain how I wanted the meat cut. He seemed impatient and uninterested in listening, which made the whole interaction uncomfortable. On top of that, the meat wasn’t even cut properly according to what I tried to request. The quality of service really let the place down. I expected better customer care and basic respect. Unfortunately, because of this experience, I’d think twice before coming back.

Worst support from them I have done a phone call regarding their Watsaap group to join in watsaap group as my friends suggest me their we can get all the Asian stuff, those people says that they cannot join in group and we don’t give any updates in groups then why the f…..the group is established?… its so disappointing to me as i excepted that I got a good store to buy all Asian stuff. The response also when i call them they hold me on 5 mins and later they said sorry we can’t add in watsaap group literally its my advice to store owner or manager -please respond the calls and please answer the queries . Very very disappointing…………………….

Great addition to Belfast This grocery store is clean, spacious and offers an impressive variety especially for Asian products. I came here after a recommendation and was not disappointed. The meat and vegetables are fresh, and selection is much broader than other shops in this area. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout. Definitely a place I will keep coming back to. highly recommended
